Relay for LIfe

Friday night was the Cleveland County Relay for LIfe at the fair grounds here in town. Image had a booth and we spent most of friday getting ready and then were at the fair grounds until about 11 pm. We set up the "Image Dog Pound" which was a kennel where you could pay to have someone "impounded". Even more popular than that was the round up where we would go get some one, leash them up, and escort them back to the tune of "Who let the dogs out" (and as an aside, if I never hear that song again it will be too soon). When we totaled all the money we raised from different ventures it was around $1,000. Cleveland County is usually one of the top fundraisers in the state for the American Cancer Society.

In other news, I was stuck in town this weekend with a check engine light. It turned out to be a loose hose which was found after much searching and taking apart of my car.

Ashley and I went and saw The Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy this weekend and it was very funny, but only if you've read the books. Otherwise it's just a bunch of random silliness. It made me want to go read the books again. My favorite part was the improbability drive.

And finally, if you need a laugh or just to wonder if people have too much time on their hands... http://kittenwar.com/
