Crabbing: Ashley not only caught the first crab and the biggest crab but he also caught a trap. Aparently someone had thrown in a trap without securing it to the pylon and lost it in the bay. Ashley managed to hook it with his bait and pulled it in saying, "Get the net ready, it's a big one."

Lobster night: Click on the photo to see it larger and check out the sign on the umbrella. Last time I ate lobster was the last time I was in Jersey two years ago.

The last day at the beach, a shelf had eroded into the sand the night before due to the weather. It's interesting to see and kind of rare and you definately have to get to the beach before the crowds to get to see it.

Ashley catches up on his reading. Note the obnixously orange, road barrel orange beach towel. He has a bath towell the same color.

Dad the fearless explorer: Another photo from the day of the sand shelf. The angle and the drama and endless horizon the shelf created make for a pretty dramatic photo.
