Well, its been a while since I posted but there have been some interesting developments in the saga of the brown house on Lee Street. It officially came on the market last Thursday, listing at $105,000. Which is about where we thought it would be priced initially. So, we made an offer on it yesterday. We offered $95,000, and asked for them to leave the fridge, porch swing and lawn mower. We also added an addendum asking for a one year home warranty and offered to clean out the house if they would pay the closing costs. Remember that all the siblings connected to this house live way out of town (west coast) and the house is still full of their late parents belongings (including a mini van parked in the driveway). We put an expiration date on the offer of next monday so we should hear something this week.

After we got done with the agent, we drove by the house again. It looks a lot greener now that the trees have leaves and there is a beautiful hydranga bush in the front with blue flowers. We're both really excited and can't wait to hear from the sellers.
